Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Stay Staffed Technologies, specializing in providing web-based technology solutions to hospitals and other healthcare facilities, has an immediate need for a Technical Business Analyst. The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for working with both internal and external clients, documenting requirements and functional specifications, performing data analysis, creating ad-hoc queries and reports, testing, configuring customer implementations, technical writing and training.

  • Meet with business personnel to identify, assess, document, and review business requirements. Become an expert understanding the business.
  • Become an expert in the functionality of our web-based solutions and perform impact analysis of new changes to the solutions.
  • Create, review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and documents related to solutions.
  • Create test cases to ensure requirements have been implemented into the system and perform functional and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Develop SQL queries for data analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Provide training to end users.
  • Provide technical and business support of system to end users.
Job Skills / Requirements:
  • Ability to translate requirement concepts between business and technical personnel. Proven experience working with both IT and business users in the development of a new processes and software functionality.
  • Can critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Must have strong Database coding / SQL proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLookups, and building macros; exposure to Visual Basic.
  • Possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills - clear and concise writing and oral skills are critical to obtaining and disseminating information.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Experience creating detailed test cases and scripts with proven test case execution.
  • Ability to create clear and concise end user documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration with a major in Information Systems.
